South Bristol bakery to expand
A popular bakery is expanding but remaining south of the river.
The Park Bakery will soon be opening on North Street in Bedminster following the success of its first location on St John’s Lane.
Edward Billington and Marta Urbanska have owned the business since 2023, with the pair particularly proud of their carrot cake, brownies and four types of sourdough, as well as their cardamom and cinnamon buns.
The Park Bakery is named after the nearby Victoria Park, with their new home at 49 North Street coincidentally located next to Ebenezer Gate Pocket Park.
The second Park Bakery will be opening within what was most recently Toyville Games and before that Storysmith bookshop before they moved to bigger premises up the road.
