Popular curry house has closed
After two years of successful trading with a loyal customer following, it is end of the road for a popular Indian restaurant and takeaway.
The Curry Lounge on Gloucester Road has closed its shutters for good much to the disappointment of many. The news of the closure was picked up by a local Facebook group which hailed the restaurant as “one of the best” curry houses in Bristol.

There have been many speculations regarding the abrupt closure. One contributor of the forum cited increase of rent as one reason while others cited the cost of ingredients and the hike of energy prices are most likely causes.
