New dog-friendly cafe opens on Gloucester Road
A new dog-friendly cafe has opened in the former Lloyds bank building on Gloucester Road.
Coffi Lab describe their cafes as places to ‘connect, switch off and enjoy life’s simple pleasures’.
Their newest opening, located on the corner of Gloucester Road and Dongola Avenue next to the Anchor pub, is Coffi Lab’s tenth location in the UK but its first to open within Bristol.
is needed now More than ever

The former Lloyds Bank building has swapped pound sterling for pooches
Inspired by his own fox red Labrador Dylan, founder James Shapland established Coffi Lab as a “home away from home” for people and their furry companions, envisioning a space that would not only tolerate but “welcome dogs with open arms”.
The cafe offers a variety of sweet and savoury goodies, coffee from their roastery and treats for four-legged friends, including handmade dog biscuits and puppacinos.

The cafe sells treats for people and dogs alike
The cafe chain has committed to giving 50p of every dog biscuit sold, and all proceeds from opening day sales, to Guide Dogs UK. So far, Coffi Lab has raised more than £100,000 for the charity, with the Gloucester Road location’s opening day sales alone raising £3000.
The Coffi Lab on Gloucester Road is open seven days a week, has both indoor and outdoor seating, free WiFi and is wheelchair accessible.
On their new opening, Coffi Lab said: “We’re thrilled to be part of the neighbourhood – serving up exceptional coffee from Soil to Sip, alongside freshly baked treats and warm welcomes. Pop in and say hello!”
