Mini golf trend set to continue

Bristol’s newest mini golf-themed bar is set to open in the city centre.

Putt Above will be located on the corner of Nelson Street and Fairfax Street just an axe-throw away from an axe-throwing experience and a short roll of a ten-pin bowling ball from the Lanes.

Putt Above owners Lager Tag Leisure are also behind nearby Laser Fusion on Silver Street.

There are already two Putt Above locations in Dudley and Blackpool, with “high tech mini golf, interactive darts, shuffleboard & console gaming”.

According to a licensing application for Putt Above in Bristol, the new venue “will operate as a high-tech mini-golf venue with food and drink facilities”.

They have applied for the opening hours of 10am to midnight, seven days a week.

For more than a decade, one of the units below the former “superclub” Syndicate was clothes shop 5 Pointz, next door to hairdressers Cococheno and South Central barbers.
