L’Osteria to open in Bristol before Christmas
Bristol’s bumper year of new food and drink openings is not over yet, with L’Osteria confirmed to open in Quakers Friars on December 22.
L’Osteria is an Italian restaurant founded in Germany which now has locations in Austria and Switzerland, with Bristol becoming its first branch in the UK.
It will open within four units in Quakers Friars next door to what will be the city’s second Côte – offering its signature 18-inch pizzas that are often ordered by two people with different toppings on each half.
The new Bristol opening will have seating for 200 inside as well as a terrace outside, and a private function room for 23 people.

“We chose Bristol to be the home of the very first UK L’Osteria as it has such a vibrant social scene and because the city is used to embracing new concepts in eating and drinking,” said L’Osteria owner Pru Naik.
“Not a week goes by without a new restaurant opening in Bristol and the city’s foodies, families, business people and students are keen to try new places to include in their list of go to restaurants.
“The site in Quakers Friars was the perfect place for a fresh new restaurant to help complete what has become an established dining quarter in the centre of Bristol.”
