Bristol restaurants pledge support for charity’s initiative to tackle homelessness
Nearly 30 restaurants in Bristol have signed up to support StreetSmart in their annual initiative to raise funds for homelessness charities across the UK.
Diners at each of these participating restaurants will have the chance to add an optional extra £1 to their overall bill, which will then be pooled together and donated to charities partnered with StreetSmart.
In 2024, participating restaurants from Bristol alone raised over £22,000 for the London-based charity’s initiative, launched every year during November and December.

Area operations manager for pizza restaurant Bosco, Ben Gray said: “We are so proud to be supporting Streetsmart again this year across the Bosco group.
“The impact that they make as a charity is fantastic, and the conversations that start in our restaurants as a result are really powerful. If you can- get involved!”
Across Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham, five charities working towards tackling homelessness have partnered with StreetSmart for 2025, including Caring in Bristol and 1625 Independent People. In December 2024, Bristol24/7 visited Caring in Bristol’s Z House premises, which was partly funded by money raised through StreetSmart’s 2023 initiative.
