Bristol’s first alcoholic bubble tea bar opening soon

By Martin Booth  Thursday Sep 19, 2024

Its name gives the game away: Tipsy Tapioca will become Bristol’s first bar serving alcoholic bubble teas when it opens soon.

“We’re shaking things up with a twist,” says the team behind the bar on the Centre.

“Introducing our brand-new lineup of alcoholic bubble teas that are as fun as they are delicious! From fruity, boozy goodness to refreshing green tea combos, each drink is packed with bubbles and your favourite spirits.”

The bar on Broad Quay next to Pieminister promises to serve “the best boba in Bristol”. It’s a bold claim among the likes of CUPP and Jo’s Tea which regularly have queues out of their doors.

A selection of their drinks menu includes Mezcal Mango with tequila, Jungle Juice with gin, Bobastar Martini with vodka and Sexy Peach with soju.
