Baker and artist launch macarons to celebrate ‘independent craft and creativity’
A Bristol-based artist and bakery duo have collaborated to create macarons that celebrate “independent craft, bold design, and their shared love of creativity”.
The box with abstract illustrations in artist Mr Penfold’s signature style will contain six assorted flavours of macarons, created by Anna Tyler from Anna Cake Couture.
Each macaron with gold foil plating will be of a different flavour, specially curated to echo the colours of Penfold’s illustration on the box’s exterior.

Customers will be able to pre-order these limited edition sweet treats from Anna Cake Couture’s website from July 28 onwards.
Speaking about the collaboration, Tyler said: “This collaboration was all about celebrating Bristol’s creative energy.
“I’ve always loved Penfold’s fearless use of colour, and it was such a joy to translate his artwork into flavour and form. The result is playful, vibrant, and something we’re excited to shout about.”
