These are the 35 Bristol restaurants (and one bakery) in the Good Food Guide 2019

By Martin Booth  Thursday Sep 6, 2018

Bristol’s standing as the best city for eating and drinking outside London has been confirmed in the 2019 edition of The Good Food Guide.

The 35 entries are the most that Bristol has ever had in the prestigious guide, sponsored by Waitrose, and by Bristol in this case we are including the likes of Romy’s Kitchen and Ronnie’s in Thornbury, the Pony & Trap in Chew Magna, and the Ethicurean in Wrington.

In a sign of the fast-changing nature of the city’s restaurant scene, Pi Shop is included despite it closing unexpectedly in August. Casamia next door meanwhile is named in the guide as the eighth best restaurant in the UK.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
