Win a free festival pass and more to Cinema Rediscovered
Cinema Rediscovered has partnered with film distributor Park Circus for a competition giving people the chance to curate their own film season.
Entrants can draw from over 25,000 titles in Park Circus’ catalogue to curate their film season, which they can then pitch to the distributor.
Ideas will be judged on quality, originality and likely appeal to audiences.

Finalists will have the chance to discuss their proposals with a panel of industry experts at the festival.
Park Circus’ has films from across classic cinema, contemporary cinema, festivals and international sales.
Popular collections include a Wes Ander-thon, showcasing director Wes Anderson’s best films and the Peter Weir collection, which includes director Peter Weir’s cult classics including Witness (1985) and The Truman Show (1998).
The winning proposal will become a collection in the Park Circus catalogue and be offered to screening venues across the UK.
The winner will also receive a festival pass and travel bursary of up to £500 to attend the 2026 edition of Cinema Rediscovered.

Last year’s winner was Yuriko Hamaguchi with Transnational Japan in Hollywood, a film season that explored representations of Japan in Hollywood.
Films including the James Bond film You Only Live Twice (1967) and the neon-laden action Bullet Train (2022).
The deadline for entries is Wednesday, June 2 and finalists will be notified by Monday, June 30. You can complete the entry form here.
The Cinema Rediscovered festival is taking place in and around Bristol from July 23 to 27.
