Nowhere Sessions have been championing local artists for the past two years, creating bespoke live sessions which showcase some of the city’s hidden gems along with supporting up and coming talent.
A new collaboration between the music section at Bristol 24/7 and Nowhere Sessions will celebrate homegrown talent and will feature a Q&A with the featured artist along with a live video. The first installment will be with singer-songwriter Frederico Lazzarotti who will be serenading everyone with luscious acoustic driven songs in his native tongue of Portuguese.

Founder of Nowhere Sessions, Paul Scott explains:
“I started the Nowhere Sessions in 2018 with my flatmate Barnaby with the aim to explore Bristol’s amazing spaces with music. Both of us are pretty zealous music-lovers and we wanted the opportunity to interact with the local music scene a bit more and see more of our adopted city. Me and Barnaby both attended UWE on Film and Music courses respectively. The project now includes various freelancers (Paul, Barnaby, Matt, Bart & Mark) who volunteer their time for free to make this project work! We love featuring local acts and I think it’s really important to pair the performer with a space that reflects their sound effectively. It can be a bit of a melee organising so many artists to film in so many places but we manage to make it work and have formed great partnerships with many locations around Bristol”
The release shedule is planned to be every fortnight, beginning with Frederico Lazzarotti, followed by the acoustic duo Ember and folk outfit HOTH.
