Bristol Bad Film Club: Celebrating 15 years of The Room
Greg Sestero returns to talk about his experiences making the cultiest of all cult movies
There’s something for all audiences in this week’s new releases: arthouse enthusiasts get A Private War (go here for our review), horror buffs will enjoy deja vu all over again with Happy Death Day 2 U, small punters can thrill to The Kid Who Would Be King, mainstream comedy connoisseurs have an opportunity to exercise their chuckle muscles with Instant Family, and sickos should gain plenty of disgraceful enjoyment from Piercing.
On the preview front, the Watershed has a screening of Britcom Old Boys with cast and crew in attendance. Wrestling comedy Fighting with My Family, directed by Bristol’s very own Stephen Merchant, also has early public previews at several multiplexes on Monday. This one opens officially on March 1.
Elsewhere, we’ve got Corpse Bride at Arnos Vale cemetery, two big events from the Bristol Bad Film Club, a brace of half term programmes of award-winning animation at the Watershed, and much more. Follow the links below for further information and screening times and go here for our comprehensive film listings.
