Reed (Christopher Abbott) is an ordinary huband and father who suffers from dark and murderous impulses. Still these are easily solved, so he packs up a murder kit and sets off on a business trip with the intention of killing a prostitute to satisfy his bloodlust. But he picks the wrong call girl in the form of Jackie (Mia Wasikowska) . . .

Nicolas Pesce‘s follow-up to The Eyes of My Mother is a stylish, retro, gore-drenched and blackly comic adpatation of the novel of the same title by Ryû Murakami.
