‘Food for Gaza’ comedy fundraiser at The Gaffe to feature Mike Wozniak, Stuart Goldsmith and Amy Mason

By Sarski Anderson  Monday Jun 9, 2025

The Gaffe has announced a Food for Gaza comedy fundraiser, with all proceeds from ticket sales and donations on the night going to the charity All Our Relations.

Co-founded by comedian Jen Brister and Georgia Takacs, the charity supports 21 displaced families in Gaza, including four community-led aid projects.

MC-ed by award-winning comic, speaker and veteran podcaster Stuart Goldsmith (Live at the Apollo; The Comedian’s Comedian podcast), the event will be headlined by Mike Wozniak, star of Taskmaster, Junior Taskmaster, and one-third of the hit podcast Three Bean Salad.

The organisers of the night gave the following message:

“The UN recently confirmed that 14,000 babies face death by starvation. Food supplies have been blocked since 2 March. The situation is the worst it has been since the start.

“Every day brings unbearable scenes: we have witnessed families bombed in safe zones, children buried beneath rubble, and entire communities denied food, water, and medical aid.

“Now, all Palestinians are being forced to march to a tiny strip of land – a mass displacement under fire. Many, including starving children who can no longer walk, are expected to make this journey on foot.

“On 19 May, Israel allowed 9 aid trucks across the border after 80 days of preventing all aid from entering. Compared to the 500 aid trucks a day since October 7, this is nowhere near enough to feed 2.3 million starving people.

“This is genocide happening in real time.

“Please, act now. Every second counts.”

Food for Gaza Comedy Fundraiser: Mike Wozniak, Stuart Goldsmith & Amy Mason is at The Gaffe on July 14 at 7.30pm (doors 6.30pm). Tickets are available at www.headfirstbristol.co.uk.
