New sculpture of protester appears on College Green
The latest sculpture by one of Bristol’s most prolific artist has surprisingly so far lasted for more than a fortnight on College Green.
The sculpture by Getting Up To Stuff is of a life-sized protester holding a spray can and a banner with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament symbol.
Mud is on one side of the protester, who is also wearing a beanie hat and headphones and has had the habit of falling over since being installed in front of City Hall on Christmas Day.

“At first sight it looks like somebody has created a dirty protest of their own here but I’d like to think he just blew over in the storm and a kindly soul picked him back up,” wrote Getting Up To Stuff on Instagram.
“Either way, it’s all part of the story once they leave the safety of Stuff Towers.”
