Familiar faces within Bristol jigsaw created by Ben the Illustrator

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Oct 12, 2021

When Ben the Illustrator announced in January that he would be designing a Bristol jigsaw, he asked on Twitter for any residents who might want to be hidden away in their city.

The jigsaw has now been finished, with the artist hiding Craig Minchington, Kim Hobbs, Jess Siggers and Sally Barnett among the landmarks.

The 1000-piece jigsaw has been given the title of The Marina, and produced using high-quality recycled board and measuring 68cm by 49cm when complete.

“I worked with the team at Galt Toys / Falcon Jigsaws to create an exciting 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle featuring my local city of Bristol,” says Ben the Illustrator.

“The scene is based around the marina, with its historic sites, paddle boarders and, of course, a Gromit, but also incorporates Bristol’s colourful houses, cafes, football teams and hot air balloons!”
