Bristol to get its first dedicated gin bar and restaurant

More than 350 gins and a gin-inspired food menu will be served in Bristol’s first speciality gin bar and restaurant.

Dutch is due to open next month in Old Market.

It will take over what was most recently gay bar The Retreat at 16 West Street, which still has an underground bank-style vault.

The gin bar and restaurant will be able to accommodate more than 200 guests, with owners inviting all of Bristol to come and drink and learn more about gin.

Work has been underway since November to transform the venue, with an opening night due to happen sometime in February.
