Netflix series producer launches TV production company in Bristol
A seasoned series producer for Netflix and the BBC has launched a new production company in Bristol.
Joanna Crow, whose production credits include Netflix’s Agatha Christie adaptation of Seven Dials and the BBC psychological thriller Chloe, founded Panache Pictures.
Panache Pictures has become the latest creative tenant at The Bottle Yard Studios in south Bristol, which is already the home to some 17 other creative businesses.
Crow, who previously worked as an assistant director for acclaimed productions such as The Great, Devs, Giri-Haji and Sanidton, brings a wealth of experience to her role as founder and director of the new production company.

On the new venture, Crow said: “Panache is thrilled to be joining the creative community at The Bottle Yard Studios at an exciting time of opportunity for the region.
“We love filming at the studios with its amazing support, facilities and excellent local talent available across the South West.
“Having witnessed their supportive infrastructure firsthand, moving in was the logical next step.”
Other creatives of the company include Ian Hogan, head of production, whose credits include Black Mirror, Britannia, Downton Abbey and Sanditon, alongside the local talent Gemma Wright.
The latter had worked assisting Stephen Merchant on the Bristol-filmed acclaimed BBC/Amazon Studios series Outlaws and subsequently as the producer of Waterloo Road in its 16th series.
