Managing Partner Ben Steele has lived in Bristol for all his life. He trained as a Chartered Accountant at a young age and has now worked in Practice for almost 12 years.
After managing other Accountancy firms for many years, he decided to form his own Firm in 2017, and ever since, Steele Financial Ltd has gone from strength to strength.
The firm offers traditional accountancy services you would expect, to a massive variety of business sizes & industries, from small self-employed to multi-million-pound Companies.
However, they are so much more than that!
Specialising in cloud accountancy (Xero, QuickBooks Online etc) and fintech, they help businesses enter the 21st century in terms of business & accounting processes, making use of available tech in the modern age.
They also offer a one-stop-shop Virtual FD service, providing growing companies with their very own affordable virtual finance department, including bookkeeping, supplier payments, payroll & wages payments, credit control, forecasting & reporting etc.
Steele Financial were keen to join the Better Bristol movement for several reasons. Overall, they love their city and loved the opportunity to be a part of making it better. They are also are involved in outreach activities in their community, actively training young students fresh from school/college the chance to train from scratch in a lifelong Accountancy career, without the need to go to University. They also attend workshops with local Secondary Schools to talk to students about career advice.
