Ovation Finance joins the Bristol24/7 Better Business network
Ovation Finance is proud to join the Bristol24/7 Better Business community, a network of organisations committed to helping Bristol thrive while creating positive social impact across the city.
Ovation Finance is a Bristol-based firm of independent chartered financial planners, helping people use money to support a happier, more meaningful life.
Its process starts with understanding. Before talking about products, pensions or investments, the team takes time to get to know the person in front of them.
What makes them happy? What motivates them? What do they want their life to look like? Sometimes those answers are clear. Sometimes they take a little untangling.

Either way, Ovation uses coaching skills to help clients define what really matters, so their money can be shaped around their life, not the other way around.
Founded in 2000, Ovation has spent more than two decades championing financial wellbeing: the idea that money is not the end goal, but a tool for living well.
The firm helps clients make sense of their finances, make confident decisions and build plans that reflect their values, goals and circumstances.
For some, that means understanding whether they can afford to retire. For others, it means making their business and personal finances work together, planning for their family, or simply feeling calmer and clearer about the future.
Its approach is rooted in long-term relationships, honest conversations and practical advice. The firm is proud to be chartered, independent, employee-owned and B Corp Certified, reflecting its belief that businesses should consider their impact on clients, employees, the wider community and the environment.
Ovation has also played a part in shaping the wider financial wellbeing movement. Founder Chris Budd authored The Financial Wellbeing Book, the team created the Financial Wellbeing Podcast, and members of Ovation helped found the Institute for Financial Wellbeing.
Ovation said joining Bristol24/7’s Better Business network “feels like a natural fit”.
They added: “Bristol is our home, and we care about contributing to a local business community that is thoughtful, collaborative and committed to making things better.
“Ultimately, we help people become happier, not just wealthier. Because a good financial plan should not just ask, “Have I got enough?” It should help answer the bigger question: “What is it all for?”
