Action man du jour Liam Neeson and director Jaume Collet-Serra reunite for a fourth lunk-headed thriller in the style of their earlier Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night.
As usual, our Liam’s on one of his one-man frantic quests. Heading home on a packed commuter train after being fired from his job as an insurance salesman, he’s challenged by the woman sitting opposite him (Vera Farmiga) to identify the one person aboard who doesn’t belong. In return, he’s offered a handsome reward. Needless to say, he soon finds himself at the centre of a deadly conspiracy that will result in everyone on the train being murdered. And – stop me if you’ve heard this before – only he can prevent this happening.
