Another of those romantic disease weepies for those who can’t get enough of the likes of Everything, Everything, The Fault in Our Stars and, well, just about anything written by Nicholas Sparks.
The rare condition in this one is Xeroderma pigmentosum – an extreme sensitivity to sunlight. Bella Thorne is girl who suffers from it, leaving her housebound during the day, and Patrick (son of Arnold) Schwarzenegger is the hunky school jock she falls for – without disclosing her affliction. This one’s actually a remake of a 2006 Japanese film of the same title.
