A teen romcom with a coming out twist from the producers of The Fault in Our Stars, adapted from Becky Albertalli‘s cumbersomely titled YA novel Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda.
Nick Robinson stars as closeted teen Simon Spier who falls for an anonymous classmate online. John Duhamel and Jennifer Garner play his parents in what is otherwise a fairly conventional mainstram high school movie. But it does at least have the courage to place its protagonist’s sexuality centre stage.
