Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets: Live at the Roundhouse

Director

Running Time
127 mins

Roger Waters continues to tour the big ’70s albums around the world’s stadia and David Gilmour doesn’t seem to be doing much at all, so it’s left to Pink Floyd’s former drummer Nick Mason to keep alive the band’s material from the psychedelic Syd Barrett era.

On paper, this shouldn’t work at all – especially as former Spandau Ballet frontman Gary Kemp takes the Barrett role. But the project has proven to be a huge commercial and critical success, hence this live concert film from London’s iconic Roundhouse. Incidentally, the band has just announced another lengthy tour, but the closest they get to us is the Forum on Bath on May 12 – though this appears to have sold out already.
