The 15:17 to Paris

Director
Clint Eastwood
Certificate
15
Running Time
94 mins

After American Sniper and Sully, prolific 87-year-old Clint Eastwood remains in American Hero mode with this adaptation of the self-explanatory The 15:17 to Paris: The True Story of a Terrorist, a Train, and Three American Heroes.

In an unusual move, Eastwood has cast the actual titular heroes – Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone – as themselves in his version of the 2015 terrorist attack on a train travelling from Amsterdam to Paris, which was thwarted by the trio. (Actually, a quick Google search reveals that a Brit and several French passengers were also involved in subduing the gunman, but whether they’ll get a mention here remains to be seen.)
