In 2003, 30 years after they served together in the Vietnam War, Former Navy Corps medic Larry ‘Doc’ Shepherd (Steve Carell) joins forces once again with Sal Nealon (Bryan Cranston) and Reverend Richard Mueller (Laurence Fishburne) on a different type of mission: to bury Doc’s son, a young marine killed in the Iraq War.

Richard Linklater‘s comedy/drama road movie follows the trio as they take the casket up the East Coast, reflecting on the wars that have shaped their lives. Last Flag Flying doesn’t appear to be getting much of a release, so this event could prove to be your only chance to see it on the big screen. It’s followed by a satellite Q&A with Bryan Cranston.
