Bristol Film Festival: Rush

Director
Ron Howard
Certificate
15
Running Time
120 mins

It’s 1976, and Formula 1 racing is dominated by two very different characters. There’s hunky, louche English playboy James Hunt (Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth) and icy, methodical, Austrian-born Niki Lauder (Daniel Bruhl). Written by Oscar nominated The Queen screenwriter Peter Morgan, Ron Howard‘s gripping drama about their rivalry scoops the brains off the tarmac and puts it back into the world of fastness and furiosity.

Appropriately enough, this Bristol Film Festival On Location screening takes place in the Porsche showroom at Cribbs Causeway. Advance tickets are available here.
