Shot in 2015 and previously titled Bastards and Who’s Your Daddy?, the troubled directorial debut of cinematographer Lawrence Sher stars Owen Wilson and Ed Helms as twin brothers who discover that their father is not dead, as they had been led to believe by their mother (Glenn Close).
In fact, she’d slept with loads of rich and famous men in the 1970s, and the siblings’ father could be any one of them. So they hit the road on a voyage of self-discovery. Promising, huh? Alas, even re-shoots couldn’t save this one from being a critical and box office disaster in the US.
