Mark Alleyne commits his future to Gloucestershire
Mark Alleyne has signed a new three-year deal to remain as Gloucestershire head coach.
As part of the deal, the former club captain has committed to being in charge of the Shire during the One Day Cup, which he previously missed out of due to commitments with the Welsh Fire in the Hundred.

Alleyne said that he was “really pleased” to have signed the deal that will keep him at the County Ground until at least 2028.
He said: “My commitment to the club has never been in doubt, and it’s great to get the contract over the line so we can focus on delivering high performances over the next three years.”
Gloucestershire president-elect David Graveney added: “Following several players choosing to extend their stay with Gloucestershire, we are delighted that Mark has also decided to remain with a club where he has enjoyed great success both as a player and as a coach.
“Negotiations have been ongoing for some time, but it’s fantastic news for both the club and our supporters that Mark will continue as head coach of Gloucestershire Men.”
