England will take on Pakistan at the Brightside Ground in one of the first games of next summer’s home cricket internationals.
The one-dayer on Tuesday, May 14 is one of five between the two nations next year as they prepare for the ICC Cricket World Cup in England and Wales in 2019.
Gloucestershire Cricket chief executive Will Brown said: “We are looking forward to hosting a full calendar of international cricket in 2019 and it’s great to be able to kick the programme of with England v Pakistan in May.
“The announcement today comes only two weeks after we hosted a very successful England v India IT20 match, and we are confident that we will put on another great show for fans when England and Pakistan come to Bristol next year.”
Tickets for the match will go on sale in October, with priority access to tickets available to Gloucestershire members and to previous international ticket buyers.
The England versus India T20 match earlier this month at the Brightside Ground sold out within two weeks of going on sale.
