Woman sexually assaulted on Bristol train
A passenger was sexually assaulted on a train at Bristol Temple Meads.
Police have now issued the above photo of a man who they would like to talk to about the offence, following the inappropriate touching of the 43-year-old woman on a Bristol to Manchester service at 6pm on Thursday, May 26.
The woman boarded the train at Temple Meads when she was approached by a man.
The pair had a brief conversation before the man put his arm around the woman and touched her inappropriately. The woman then left her seat and went to another part of the train to get away from him.
The man, who is understood to have got off the train at Birmingham New Street at around 7.30pm, is described as black, in his 30s, around 5ft 9ins tall and of a muscular build.
PC Thomas McIntyre from British Transport Police in Bristol said: “The woman was not hurt in the incident but was left extremely upset by what happened.
“This sort of unwanted sexual behaviour will not be tolerated and we take all reports of this nature extremely seriously.”
