Arrest over suspected murder in Knowle

Police carried out forensic investigations at a house in Knowle after the suspected murder of a man in his 40s.

One man in his 50s was arrested after a body was found at the property on Wells Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The arrested man was being treated in hospital for an arm injury, an Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said on Thursday morning.

Crime scene investigators were at the property in Knowle from the early hours of Thursday morning

The suspected murder comes as the force opened up their operations through a 24-hour ‘tweetathon’ when they will be live-blogging their day until midnight using #asp24.
