Preview: Bedminster Skills Week 2016

By Sofi Carter  Friday Nov 11, 2016

Bedminster Skills Week invites all corners of the community to share, partake and enjoy.

Businesses will be throwing open their doors, traders and artists will be sharing knowledge and locals will be able to immerse themselves fully in all things creative from November 14 to 20.

The general idea is that for one week the community can get involved and try out new things that they have perhaps never even thought of doing before.

Fancy a touch of mixology? No fear, The Old Bookshop and Psychopomp will help you rustle up a cocktail so delicious you’ll never want to leave.

Feel like your CV needs an update? Bedminster Library will answer your career prayers with some sound advice.

Want to shake up your life and garner those circus skills you’ve always yearned for? Head to Windmill Hill City Farm and learn to juggle, hula and handstand to your heart’s content.

The best news about this whole event though, of course, is the fact that everything is free, nd there are classes across BS3 for everyone from toddlers to centenarians.
