Police investigating incident on moving bus
Police are investigating after a man suffered a head injury when he fell inside a moving bus on Saturday.
The bus stopped near the C8 bus stop on St Augustine’s Parade outside the Hippodrome.
Officers were called shortly before 11.20am and a section of the road was cordoned off for a few hours.
The cordon was removed shortly before 2pm.
A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police told Bristol24/7: “A man had suffered a head injury after falling while on the moving bus.
“He has gone to the hospital where he remains for treatment of injuries not currently believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.
“His family are aware. As the injured person was a passenger on a moving vehicle, the incident is being investigated as a road traffic collision.”
