Paul McCartney collaborates on Gromit Unleashed 3 sculpture

Sir Paul McCartney has collaborated on a design for a sculpture featured on the Gromit Unleashed 3 trail.

Yellow Submarine is painted by Bristol children’s illustrator and designer Emily Golden, and based on the Beatles film of the same name from 1968.

The sculpture will be on display at The Wave during the trail, which runs from June 30 to August 31, raising money for the Grand Appeal.

Look out for McCartney’s signature on top of one of Gromit’s ears, with periscopes sprouting from his head like the undersea vessel in the film.
