Red Bull mast challenge coming to Bristol
An event that will see competitors attempt to “sprint” along a heavily greased, slippery pole suspended over water is coming to Bristol.
Around 200 participants are being invited to take on the challenge as part of Bristol Harbour Festival, with the energy drinks company describing it as a test of “speed, skill and sheer determination”.
Competitors will put their agility and balance to the test in the Floating Harbour as they attempt to race along the mast and grab a flag at the end to progress to the next round.
Those who fail are eliminated and the fastest competitor in the final round will be crowned the Red Bull Up The Mast Bristol champion.
