Diggz is new presenter on BCfm’s One Love Breakfast Show

By Martin Booth  Sunday Sep 29, 2024

The One Love Breakfast Show on BCfm has a new presenter from Monday as part of a major schedule shakeup at the community radio station.

New breakfast host Diggz is a former BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and Galaxy presenter Diggz who has relocated back to Bristol after a number of years away.

Diggz has also joined BCfm’s programming team and has helped bring in new shows from DJ Cridge of Ninja Tunes, and Ava Marshall – daughter of Massive Attack’s Dadfy G – who will also present new programme Big Belly Conversations alongside longtime collaborator Teddy Good.

BCfm development lead, Marcus Smith, said: “We’re really excited here at BCfm to have someone of Diggz’s calibre at the station.”

Presenter and trustee, Sherrie Eugene Hart, added: “We’ve always championed diversity and inclusion in our output and we offer the city really good quality, innovative and creative programming that includes those voices.

“We hope to inspire a future generation of broadcasters and content makers who can work in partnership with major media outlets like the BBC and maybe turn their hobbies and passions into a potential career.”
