Bristol woman’s bid to find kind stranger goes viral

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Aug 16, 2017

A Bristol woman’s search for the ‘Good Samaritan’ who came to her daughter’s aid has gone viral.

Andrea Ballancore posted on Facebook after the teenager missed her train home from Stockport and a kind stranger paid for her to get a new ticket.

Her bid to find the “wonderful lady” so she could repay her has now been shared by more than 125,000 people.

Andrea posted a photo of her 16-year-old daughter, along with the message:

“This is my daughter. She just missed her train back to Bristol from Stockport. Her first ever big train journey solo and the woman in the ticket office would not allow her to board the next train without paying an additional £85. She is 16.

“Please can you share this post far and wide as I would like to repay and thank the kind woman who took pity on my daughter and bought her a ticket. Long shot, but hope this finds you, you wonderful lady you.”
