Bristol families wanted for wealth divide TV show

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Sep 6, 2016

A documentary exploring the growing wealth divide in the UK is looking for Bristol families to contribute to the series.

In each episode, two families from opposite ends of the wealth divide will swap homes, budgets and lifestyles for a week.

The disparity between rich and poor in Bristol has been well documented, with some of the country’s most deprived wards living within a mile of some of the country’s wealthiest.

The show’s producer, Joshua Feather, said: “When it comes to money, Britain is one of the most unequal countries in the world.

“Our series will explore this burning contemporary issue by bringing together households from opposite ends of the wealth spectrum who’d never ordinarily experience how the other half lives.

“We expect the results will be highly illuminating for the families involved, and for the viewers.”
