18-year-old charged with additional terrorism offence
An 18-year-old woman from Bristol was charged with an additional terrorism offence at a London court on Friday.
Alina Burns, who already faces charges of attempted murder, attempted grievous bodily harm and three counts of possession of a bladed article, was charged with the offence of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts at the Central Criminal Court in London.
Burns of Lynton Road in Bedminster first appeared at Bristol Crown Court in August, following the assault of a 27-year-old man who suffered minor injuries.
The white British woman remains in custody and is due to appear at the same court in January 2026.
