Scandinavian fashion brand opens first South West shop in Bristol
Swedish denim brand Nudie Jeans has opened its first South West shop on Park Street, extending its circular retail model beyond London and Manchester.
The company, founded in Gothenburg in 2001, offers free lifetime repairs on all its jeans as part of a sustainability strategy that reportedly completed more than 73,000 repairs worldwide in 2024.
Bristol’s “independent spirit” and environmental credentials made it a natural fit for the brand, according to Joakim Levin, co-founder and chief executive.
“Few cities understand that tomorrow’s vintage is created in the choices we make today better than Bristol,” he said.

The store will stock organic cotton denim, ready-to-wear pieces and a reuse collection of restored jeans.
Physical shops help cut shipping emissions by fulfilling online orders locally, the company said.

Martin Gustavsson, chief commercial officer, said: “Opening on Park Street means joining a conversation the city has already been having around culture, sustainability and responsibility.”

The new shop occupies the ground floor of 71 Park Street, which previously housed a T.M. Lewin branch until it closed in 2020.
The building, which stands on the corner of Park Street and Charlotte Street, underwent a restoration led by Urban Students that restored it to its original height after the top floors were destroyed during the Bristol Blitz.
