Photo lab to expand to north Bristol
An independent photography lab and film processor based in Bedminster is expanding north of the river.
Photographique, which currently operates from North Street and was first established in 2008, is set to open the doors of its second shop this year.
The team shared on their social media that they will be launching their second location on Kings Road in Clifton.
Dan Dale, the operations manager at Photographique, told Bristol24/7 that the Clifton store will have a different focus to its Bedminster counterpart.

He said: “Whereas we’ll still have North St looking after all our film processing and C-Type printing, we’re looking at Clifton being a hub for more of our fine art printing and finishing – although still a perfect place to drop off film orders!”
Alongside film processing and printing, the new store is set to have an exhibition space dedicated to showcasing local artists.
“It’ll be a lot more hands on and give us room to invite photographers and artists down to be involved in the process,” said Dan.
“We’re all fans of a wide range of photography and art so it’s very exciting to be able to have a space that can nourish that.”

The new store is still in its early stages, says Dan, but the team hopes that both sites will be operational at the start of February.
“We’re really looking forward to this new chapter and Photographique Clifton as a ‘Print Studio’ is a nice addition to the North Street film lab,” said Dan.
