Boots to open second ‘beauty-only’ branch in Bristol
Boots is set to open only its second “beauty-only” concept store in Bristol, marking the first time the format has been rolled out outside London.
The 11,000 sq ft Boots Beauty store will open at Cabot Circus and will feature more than 200 established and emerging brands across skincare, haircare, fragrance, cosmetics, premium beauty and electrical beauty.
The news comes just days after Altrincham-founded boutique beauty brand LOOKFANTASTIC opened its second UK store at Cabot Circus, adding to a growing cluster of high-profile high street names.
Boots said the launch forms part of its nationwide beauty transformation programme, building on the success of its first beauty-only store at Battersea Power Station, which opened in 2023.

The Bristol opening underlines Boots’ broader ambition to tap into the UK’s booming beauty sector.
Responding to growing demand for South Korean beauty, the store will stock one of Boots’ largest K-Beauty selections, including brands such as Beauty of Joseon and Dr Reju-All.
A “Trending on Social” section will highlight viral products, while a curated range of premium beauty minis is designed to encourage trial and discovery.
Brands on offer will include Kylie Cosmetics, One/Size, Wonderskin and SheGlam, alongside new ranges never before stocked by Boots, including several UK high street exclusives. The store will also feature a dedicated space for niche and independent fragrances.
A new Wellness Zone will bring together supplements, collagen and inside-out beauty products. Customers will be able to access free beauty services, including skin scans and personalised advice from specialist team members.
Around 30 new roles are expected to be created, including derm-trained pharmacists and dedicated beauty and wellness specialists.

“We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next Beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more. We’re delighted to bring to life this next exciting step in our beauty transformation.”
The Boots beauty-only store is expected to open in spring, just yards from the Moss outlet at Cabot Circus.
