Tom: Crushing loneliness and free stuff.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your date?

Eleanor: He looked like raita nice guy.
Tom: What a handsome woman. Her leather jacket is better than my leather jacket. Gin.

What did you talk about?

Eleanor: Lots of general life things, there was no saag in the conversation.
Tom: The Netherlands and other things.

What was the atmosphere like?

Eleanor: Good, the food was dhalicious.
Tom: Quite cave-like, as it’s below ground level, but in a cosy, romantic kind of way. Really nice waiers, too.

Any moments when you wished you were somewhere else?

Eleanor: Naan that I can think of.
Tom: Nah.

What would you say is the best characteristic of your date?

Eleanor: He was really chaaty so was very good company.
Tom: Up for a laugh. A bit silly (in a good way). Leather jacket. Nice hair. Gin.

What do you think your date made of you?

Eleanor: No idea, but hopefully he didn’t think I was as bland as a korma.
Tom: Probably thought I was a strange, little man – and she’d be right.

Is there anything you would change about the evening?

Eleanor: Not really. Joy Raj was joyful.
Tom: More gin?

Did you go somewhere else after your meal?

Eleanor: We chapati’d ways after the meal.
Tom: Yeah, but not with the date.

Were there any sparks of potential?

Eleanor: He was lovely but the chemistry between us wasn’t quite as hot as madras.
Tom: I don’t reckon so.

Will you meet again?

Eleanor: Probably not, but I’ll definitely wave aloo if I see him around.
Tom: Not intentionally. We didn’t exchange deets.

Many thanks to this month’s host Joy Raj.
