Loco Klub host Stonewall party

By James Higgins  Monday Mar 5, 2018

Underneath Temple Meads station – in the unique venue of Loco Klub – a new LGBT+ night will host a party with an exciting aesthetic to raise money for Stonewall.

Alternate Cuts is the product of a collaboration between Resident Advisor and Absolut Vodka. Organised by Bristol’s Bitch Please, the night of Italo Disco and New Wave will be presented with the team’s now-famed production aesthetic.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

The night will combine three highly unique DJs and with their alternative sets, will bring a queer night like no other. Boris – flying all the way from Berlin – will be reaching deep into his collection of Italo disco, while Butch Queen (who are Bristol regulars) will bring their well-loved collection of high-octane classics to the party.

Expect the History of Vogue and their crew of performers and Queens to transform the Loco Klub with an exciting installation. Much-loved Bristol queens Dis Charge and Carmen Monoxide will also be in attendance.

With New Wave and Disco aplenty – it’s a queer night that doesn’t come around every day in Bristol.

After hosting a stage at Love Saves the Day last year, the Bitch Please team are also gearing up to perform at Bestival on May 5.

All ticket and bar proceeds from the series will be donated to Stonewall.

Alternate Cuts will be hosted at Loco Klub, April 4. Doors open 9pm. Tickets are available from £7.
