Do you want to buy a cider shop?

By Martin Booth  Thursday Mar 7, 2019

Twice voted Independent Cider Retailer of the Year and named by the Rough Guide as one of the reasons why Bristol is the coolest city in the UK, a successful shop could be the perfect business opportunity for a cider lover.

Bristol Cider Shop was founded by Pete Snowman on Christmas Steps in 2010 and was one of the original businesses to move into Cargo 1 in Wapping Wharf in October 2016.

Pete has now decided that the time is right for him to partner with somebody willing to take the business forward, who will take full operational control; with the possibility of selling the shop to the right person.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Pete told Bristol24/7: “I can’t wait to see where this new chapter in the shop’s history takes us.

“It’s a really exciting time in the world of cider. There are lots of new developments happening at the moment so it feels like the perfect time for a fresh approach.

“And with summer just around the corner, cider weather’s on the way!”

The Wapping Wharf shop has a prime location within two converted shipping containers on Gaol Ferry Steps, with popular cider tasting events hosted, an outside terrace and an online shop.

For more information, contact Pete via email, [email protected], or call him at the shop on 0117 929 3203.
