Turkish restaurant to open second site

By Edie Earle  Monday May 12, 2025

Popular Turkish restaurant Cappadocia is opening a second location in Bristol.

The family-run restaurant, which first opened in Bath before finding its first Bristol location on Baldwin Street in April 2024, is replacing pizza restaurant Flour & Ash on Whiteladies Road.

Cappadocia is the latest in a long line of eateries that have occupied 50 Whiteladies Road. Previous versions of the space have included Greek restaurant Entelia, Italian restaurant Polpo, Spanish tapas bar Pintxo, CBD cafe Mary Jane’s, and Italian cafe and bar Number Fifty.

While an opening date for the new Cappadocia is yet to be announced, signs reading “exquisite Mediterranean cuisine at the new Cappadocia Clifton” have recently appeared on Flour & Ash’s pink exterior, announcing the new restaurant is coming soon.
