Sandwich Sandwich opens in Clifton again

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Jan 30, 2018

Learning a thing or two from Levi Roots and his Reggae Reggae Sauce, Bristol sandwich shop Sandwich Sandwich is so nice they named it twice.

The lunch legends have now opened a fourth branch on Queen’s Road in Clifton three years after opening a Sandwich Sandwich further down the same road, which closed last year and is now Eat A Pitta.

It joins a growing business that already has shops on Baldwin Street, Temple Way and Cotham Road South from the family-owned firm with more than three decades of catering experience.

Chef Nick Kleiner and his wife, Anita originally ran Cotham Sandwich Co. before that transformed into Sandwich Sandwich. They also used to own Juniper restaurant in Cotham, which is now Bulrush.

Their new Queen’s Road store occupies what was most recently an art gallery.

It is next door to Chilli Daddy, another popular lunch stop for hungry Bristol bellies which also has four outlets across the city.
