Popular Thai restaurant opens takeaway kitchen
Noodles, sushi, curries and more are now available at a new takeaway kitchen, from the team behind an already popular Thai restaurant.
Je Jean’s on the junction of Myrtle Road and St Michael’s Hill is now open in what was previously Saint’s Deli, which was well-known for its pizza slices since opening in September 2024.
The takeaway kitchen is Jirarat Reis aka Jean’s third venture, after Jean’s Bistro and Jinzu on Gloucester Road.

Je Jean’s has opened within the former pizza shop Saint’s Deli on the junction of Myrtle Road and St Michael’s Hill
Jean, who has studied food and business in Thailand, told Bristol24/7: “I’ve always cooked since I was young.
“In the mornings, I needed to cook food for my mum. When she came back, we would set up a little stall outside the house and sell food.”
Jean explains that her other restaurants have mostly flourished through word-of-mouth marketing, and she is confident that it will be the same for Je Jeans.
Promising a selection of Thai street food dishes, Je Jeans is perfect for anyone in need of a quick meal without compromising on quality or taste.
From cooking and selling food with her mum as a child in north east Thailand to mastering sushi-making as head chef at Budokan, Jean’s experience is evident in the taste of her food.
Chicken and ginger boat noodles, pad Thai, stir-fried noodles, pork stew, beef massaman: the choices are endless.
