Popular deli opens new restaurant
Only a few doors away from the Chandos Deli on Princess Victoria Street is the site for the new Chandos restaurant, that will open regularly from Wednesday.
The new restaurant, that opened for a soft launch over the weekend, will replace what was most recently a branch of bespoke kitchen and cabinetry experts, John Lewis of Hungerford
The team promises to continue serving all the Chandos deli ingredients they are popular for now from a “fabulous new restaurant”.

While the luxury kitchen developers bid goodbye to the spot a while ago, the site has since remained unoccupied.
Announcing the new opening on Instagram, the team said: “It might have taken a little longer than anticipated but we’re finally open at 14 Princess Victoria St.”
Chandos restaurant is currently open only for lunch, with plans to open in the evenings on the horizon.
The first Chandos opened on Chandos Road in 1992, after which they expanded to many areas in and around Bristol.
Pioneering in food retailing, the Chandos team are known for their high-quality ingredients and many fresh food options, which dominate their sites across Clifton, Henleaze, Cribbs Causeway, Bath and Exter.
From cheese, pasta, chocolates, condiments and wines to quiches, focaccia, doughnuts and pasties – there are plenty of options to choose from at all of the Chandos Deli sites.
